I've been having a mild flu since last week, and with the arrival of the monsoon season it's not getting any better! Thought of getting vaccinated but apparently there are many undocumented side effects (increased risk of cancer anyone?) and it's only temporary. The central air-conditioning at my office isn't helping either!
The worst flu "tag-along" symptom is the cough. I haven't had a cough for years but it decided to say hi to my lungs on the way out, and last night I woke up twice due to an annoying bout of cough. *Hack! Hack!*

I guess flu is our greatest enemy. Once you got infected it takes time to heal back. Normally if I got this terrible symptoms of flu, I will definitely rush to my nearest clinic for immediate treatment. Procrastinating will only make the flu worst. Talking about flu I almost got it 2 days ago as I didn't have enough of sleep and drink enough of water. Luckily I managed to recover fast the next day. Thanks to my strong immunity system against those viruses. However I still think is best not to let my guards down as flu will definitely attacks once our body system weakens.
Thanks for leaving a comment! Though you have a 'strong immunity system', I'm sure you can improve on it by exercising frequently, and one free way is to... but you already know what I'm going to say... :P
OMG, I was vaccinated some months back. Isn't the "Pes Hitam" helping?
william: If you did some simple reading you will find that flu vaccines are based on the dominant strain LAST year. So there's no guarantee that strain will be dominant again this year. If it's a different strain you'll kena also.
Studies suggest that your risk of cancer jumps once you get 5 or more vaccinations. So I think you should stop and let your body do it's job...
if the western medicine doesn't help, you could try with chinese medicine..take good care of yourself !
Take care!~ :)
